When should I use a line pump instead of a boom pump?+
Line pumps are the right call for tight access sites, residential driveways and patios, pool decks, backyard builds, and any pour where a boom truck can't maneuver. Smaller volumes and narrow access are the sweet spot.
Can a line pump handle a pool deck pour?+
Yes. Pool decks and patios are one of our most common line pump jobs. We run hose through gates and around the pool to place concrete exactly where it needs to go.
What slump do you need for a line pump pour?+
Line pumps run best with a 5 inch slump or higher. Stiffer mixes are harder to push through the hose and risk plugging a line. Coordinate your mix design with your ready-mix supplier and let us know what you have ordered so we can plan.
What happens if weather shuts down the pour mid-job?+
Call us as soon as the forecast turns. For pours we have already rolled on, we work with your finishers to close out what is already down and reschedule the rest without a separate trip charge.
