How much does concrete pumping cost in Florida?+
Croft Concrete bills hourly with a minimum fee. The hourly rate and minimum depend on pump type and site conditions. We do not charge fuel surcharges or primer fees. Call or message us with your pour details for a same-day estimate.
What is the difference between a boom pump and a line pump?+
A boom pump is truck-mounted with an articulating arm, ideal for large pours, elevated decks, and reaching over obstacles. A line pump is trailer-mounted and feeds through hose, better for residential work, tight access, and smaller volumes. We bring whichever your job needs.
How far in advance do I need to schedule a pump?+
Most residential and small commercial jobs can be scheduled within a few days. For larger commercial pours, booking a week or more ahead guarantees your preferred date. Same-day estimates are standard.
Do you coordinate with the ready-mix supplier?+
Yes. We handle timing and logistics with your ready-mix company so the trucks arrive when we are set up and ready to pump. No wasted wait time for your crew.
Are you fully insured?+
Yes, Croft carries general liability and workers compensation on every project. Concrete pumping is not a regulated trade in Florida so there is no contractor license to cite. Certificates of insurance are available on request before your pour, email office@croftconcrete.com.
What areas do you serve?+
Croft Concrete Pumping operates from Lake Butler, FL with a 100+ mile service radius. Eight primary counties anchor the route (Union, Columbia, Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Marion, Suwannee, and Putnam), and we cover Gainesville, Ocala, Lake City, Live Oak, Starke, Palatka, Macclenny, Cross City, Chiefland, and any jobsite within a one-to-two-hour drive.
Do you work with homeowners or only contractors?+
Both. Most of our work runs through contractors, finishers, pool builders, and general contractors, but we also work directly with homeowners as needed. If you are pouring a driveway, patio, pool deck, or backyard slab, you can hire us directly. You will still need a finisher to place the concrete since we only pump.
What kind of pours can you handle?+
Foundations, slabs, driveways, patios, pool decks, elevated decks, commercial warehouses, parking structures, multi-story projects, and tight-access residential builds. Boom pump and line pump fleet covers the full range.
How does billing work?+
Hourly billing with a minimum fee. You get a clear estimate before the pour and an invoice that matches, with the same hourly rate from setup through washout.
What happens if the ready-mix truck is late?+
We coordinate timing with your ready-mix supplier ahead of the pour, and we stay in communication if anything shifts. Delays outside our control are handled by billing for the time we are on site as agreed in the estimate.
